SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
LEADERSHIP
I lead a cross functional team of 12 creatives coordinating on large scale and recurring projects. Day to day, I lead by example by consistently performing at a high level and playing the role of cheerleader and coach as needed.
PRESENTATION
I take great pride in clearly explaining creative direction and strategy to business partners as well as internal leadership teams. I am comfortable in front of individuals and groups who may or may not understand anything about design in advertising.
TRAINING
Tasked with training all incoming designers, both in company specific processes and graphic design as a whole, I set the baseline for our department. I am also heavily involved in the cross training of our strategy & project managment departements.
STRATEGY
Great creative comes from great ideas which are born from an intimate knowledge of the partner's brand as well as the human condition. I write shotlists and story boards to assist in generating tailored assets for campiagns. I create targeted audiences and built budgets to be sure that our designs are being efficiently served to potential customers.
DESIGN
I began my career with print advertising, branding and packaging design. Then I pivoted towards a focus on digital & social media advertising. My strength is in bold and punchy graphics but I have designed for any brand voice you can imagine.
TECHNOLOGY
A champion of the creative suite. My preferred programs are Photoshop, Illustrator & After Effects but I am well versed in the all things Adobe. Familiar with numerous email marketing platforms and web builders, I can translate my design skills into any medium required.
INNOVATION
Early to the AI party by integrating GPT prompt writing as a tool to improve my imagery, copywriting and strategy. Constantly hungry for improvement and education I have earned numerous UI/UX design certifications while utilizing tutorials to stay on the cutting edge of design technology.
A BIT ABOUT ME
With 11 years of experience spanning in-house marketing, advertising agencies, and leadership roles, I bring both creative vision and hands-on design expertise to the table. I started my career on a small marketing team, where I managed everything from print advertising and branding to packaging and catalog design—building a strong foundation in versatility and adaptability.
Over the past eight years, I’ve thrived in the high-energy world of agencies, designing thousands of ads for hundreds of clients across industries. As Director of Design, I’ve not only delivered impactful creative work but also built and led a high-performing design team. I take pride in mentoring young creatives, elevating their skills through constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative culture where great ideas can thrive.
I’m excited to bring that same balance of creativity, leadership, and strategic thinking to a new Art Director role—driving campaigns that resonate, inspire, and perform.
